During the product knowledge course, you will learn the most important things about assortment & quality/entrance control of flowers or plants.
Target group
The product knowledge course is suitable for almost all employees in various positions within trading companies: managers, executives, support and executive staff. Especially for employees dealing with assortment within purchasing and sales, quality or logistics functions.
Content and programme
During this course theory and practice are combined and you will be able to gain knowledge about the current assortment of flowers and plants. In addition, you will learn everything about the quality of products/entrance control. The course will be given by Lucas Jansen, an experienced teacher of Floweracademy.NL
What can you expect?
During the course theory and practice are combined. Topics covered are nomenclature, developments in assortment, characteristics of flowers or plants and different product groups. Quality aspects like entrance control, product specifications, the different chains, pre-treatment of flowers or plants, determination of diseases.

As support for this course you can use the e-learning platform of Floweracademy.TV. On this platform you can learn online with video content and PowerPoints. Watch, test and print your own certificates.
As a participant, you will also have temporary access to the web application assortment of InfoFlowersPlants. This web application is the replacement of the assortment books of Flower council Holland. Independent, consistent and up-to-date product information in 8 languages with numerous search functions.
This course can also be given in-company!
